good tidings of great joy!

merry Christmas!

this is the picture my dear husband wanted to use for our Christmas card this year...  i don't think the look on hadley's face says "peace"; is that just me!?!

i went with this instead...  it sums up 2011 and is my prayer for the wild year 2012 promises to be.  baby number 3 arriving in april and a move to meridian, ms either before that blessed arrival or shortly after!

i hope this joyous season finds you happy in whatever circumstances the Lord has brought you...knowing He is always wrapping His loving arms around us.
and my favorite passage about the birth of our glorious savior...
"now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. and behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. then the angel said to them, "do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. and this will be the sign to you: you will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger. and suddnely there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest and peace and goodwill toward men!"
luke 2:8-14
and i tried desperately to share our christmas card with you all here on the blog but it would never leave the picture in "working order" for more than about 15 minutes before they became "little x's" instead of actual pictures...oh well...not what christmas is about anyway.  merry, merry!
